Black cocoa powder offers an incredibly rich, deep black hue and robust flavor profile, essential for crafting strikingly dark baked goods and sumptuous icings.

Here's how to prepare Black Buttercream:

  1. Combine 60 - 70g of Black Cocoa Powder with 500g of buttercream, stirring until thoroughly incorporated.
  2. Introduce a few drops of black gel food coloring, stirring until evenly distributed.
  3. Allow the buttercream to rest in a dark, cool environment for 1-2 days to develop its full depth of color and flavor.

Made from a fine selection of highly alkalised origin cocoa beans with an overwhelming cocoa taste and strong alkali notes.

The process of 'Dutched' or Alklised cocoa powders yeilds a less bitter, full-bodied chocolate flavour and more intense colour hues.

Application: Mix our deep black cocoa with regular cocoa to both colour and flavour.
